How can I get a work visa for Lebanon?

I am a UK student hoping to go to Beirut in Lebanon for a work placement (with an Engineering Consultants company) in July 2011. I'm assuming I'll need a work visa for this but haven't been able to find much about these online. The placement is 6weeks long but I will be in the country for just under 7 weeks. Can anyone shed some light on what to do next?
