I want to know about teeth whitening options...?

So I have teeth that aren't whitening well with whitening toothpaste. I don't want to try whitening strips or mouthwash so are there any other methods I could use? I read somewhere about using Hydrogen Peroxide by swishing it in your mouth and spitting it out. Would that work?
