New tongue piercing ..please helpp? ?

K. I got it done 3 days ago. Its still pretty swollen and sore at times but ice helps. Anyways, around the bottom part of the ring, there's a white ring around it sometimes. It comesand goes. On the top my whole tongue is kinda white-ish and there's sort of a white ring around the top . Is this normal? Oh, I've been rinsing with salt water and alcohol free mouthwash occasionally. But yeah is this normal? The rings?
