Can I give oral sex 6 days after I got my tongue pierced?

It's mine and my boyfriends anniversary this coming weekend and I just got my tongue pierced yesterday. I have had many piercings and my body has responded very well to all of them. I had some swelling after sleeping last night, as expected, but not as much as I though. It really doesn't hurt that much anymore and I can even eat some solids now. Anyways, is it too soon to do it this weekend? I know I have to be gentle with it and rinse with mouthwash and all, but I would like some actual PERSONAL experience please. Thanks!
