My ipod wont work, i would really like some help 5th generation ipod?

i have the ipod 5th generation, i had problems with it before i couldn't change the volume or anything, the wheel part didn't work, i could push the buttons that was it...i got that fixed by restoring it...now i was listening to music and it just randomly stopped and the screen is black, wont light up nothing, so i tried charging it...nothing...i would hear a clicking sound when i pushed the buttons, but that's it, i plugged it into my laptop my computer couldn't find it, itunes as well...finally got it so i could restore it again and it didnt work, no sounds from the ipod nothing at all...i would like some help, cause i am now extremely mad, and i want to smash it into small pieces
