-Tongue Piercing help?-?

I got my tongue pierced on wednesday..its now monday. i use biotene mouthwash. i have a white ring around the top ball but my tongue is white! my friend told me to use a sea salt wash for it. is this all normal? how often do i use the sea salt wash? can i use mouthwash and sea salt or just clean with one? thanks :) best answer to the one who helps. and plz only answer if you know!! ps, there hasn't been too much pain, moderate swelling, but its almost all gone now from what i can see.
